yea, but i don't understand. it's a 5 line max, so depending on your screen size/resolution, it would be 3 lines + sig, or 7 lines + sig. i just dont get it .
anyways, i'll help her out tomorrow on getting her a new siggy set up....as for the pic, i'm not sure she still has that =\.

Dammit my external hard drive just died. Thats the 3rd bad hard drive they have sent me in a month!
RMA with them is a joke, send in a bad one and get a different bad one back with a new shiny sticker! wow.

Get a new one and change the brand man. I'm not too sure now but Maxtor should be ok for price and performance.

@ josh2thad: what brand HDD is that? and why don't you start bitching at the company until you receive a brand new, larger, better HDD? tell them that you're tired of the BS of having to RMA the HDD every other day and that you demand a new drive of larger, better, and faster capabilities .

@CDs
Its western digital Of couse if this was Segate they would have made me happy soon as i call them
Im sitting here with a dead 250GB IDE Hard and a 320GB and the guy on the phone is arguing with me telling me that the serial number mateches an 80gb drive not a 320... and i cant understand a damn thing hes saying.
So they agreed to do the advance RMA without charging me... on both drives but i bet they just give me junk "recertified" ones again. This is the 3rd set they have sent me.
Seagate FTW

i've never dealt with the RMA services of either of the two companies. Dark Lord (formerly Another User), dealt with seagate's RMA, and he was quite un-happy with their services. pretty much the same thing you are experiencing with WD....so, idk.

ya, seagate was a real bitch to deal with for me. they screwed up and sent me the wrong type of hard drive the first time around. they sent an Ultra ATA 7200.8 to replace my Sata 7200.10, and then it took them a month to actually find another sata 7200.10 to send me.

Yeah that would make me mad too. Glad i've never had that happen with seagate. When i RMA'd my 2 drives ( 1 for me and 1 for my brother) they sent us both the same series of drives but larger. His was a 160GB ATA 100 and mine was a sata 200GB and we recieved a ATA 100 200GB and a sata 320GB. Havent had any trouble from either drive.
This is my either 3rd of 4th set of junk drives from WD, ive honestly lost count and i hate dealing with them, they dont even speak freakin english.
