kinda. she'd play more games, but she doesn't have all the time she wants because of school
she's already passed Prey, plays ut2k4 as much as she can, she plays Guild Wars every so often. She has HL2, HL2: EP1, Dark Messiah, BF2, and Hit Man: Blood Money all installed waiting to be played. She'll get to them. I know she'll be doing more gaming when her spring break comes around.

kick ass, i just bought hte last of hte major components for my vettes new stereo.
as it sits now, i just need to pick up the wireing cables, build a couple of boxes, and hten wire it all up.
my system is...
Kenwood Excelon X679
Pioneer GM-5100T, 2 channel 125w RMS, 760w max
2x pioneer TS-A4670R 4x6 20w RMS
2x pioneer TS-A6961R 6x9 40wRMS
2x pioneer 4inch speakers. not sure the name or power since the lable is ripped off.
this is going to sound so much better with some real power behind them. i was running those speakers off a 20 year old head unit that had about 2.2w rms available per channel.
this is pretty close to what the finished install will look like. the only difrrence being is im going to mount the amp in the center, and put the 4in speakers in the upper corners of those 2 boxes.

na, i decided to pass on the subs. the 6x9s put out quite abit of bass as it is.
i knew if i put subs in anyways, id probably be opening up a whole new can of worms. these old things are not very sound proof, and i would be chaseing squeeks, rattles, and vibrations for a very long time if i did that.

trust me, these cars are a damn money pit. for the last 3 years this thing has been up on ramps until about late july, early august because the damn thing just decides it wants to stop running. either the carb goes up in flames, the all the fuel lines rust out, gas tank rusts out, starter goes out and then leaves you chaseing a damn electrical gremlin for the next month, or some other damn thing happens.
so far this spring ive got a list a mile long to fix
rebuild carb
tune carb
redo ignition system
correctly setup ignition system
install hurst competition plus shifter
install new complete exhaust
figure out why the hell the car severly pulls to the right when brakeing. possibly just needs new pads.
possibly replace upper control arm bushings. something poped last fall and thats the only thing i havnt checked.
install new stereo and probably fry all of my wires in the process.
strip all the pain off my engine and repaint
and finaly, readjust the left rear bumper. its a mile off on alignment.
this damn thing isnt going to be on the road until august again...

im sure it will be in the end. once thats all sorted out, i really dont think ill have any major problems left.
as it stands now, the car doesnt run half the time because the carb is a piece of crap. the plug wires are probably 25 years old, its got a cheap distributer cap on it, the exhaust is shot and sounds like crap, and the shifter has a bad habbit of binding between gears.
after everything is taken care of, the car should fire up and run on the first turn and i wont have to worry about a single damn thing.
