ok ok.
but 10bux today is still less than 10bux back whenever. although, you are right, 10bux is still 10 bux.
and an example of what i mean.....go to a McDonald's for example, and if you track prices of say the Big Mac combo meal, it was cheaper a number of years ago in comparison to today's prices. not only that, you also got more food along with it. now you're getting less for more

ive had the power strem 520 for over a year now and havent had a wink of power related trouble(knocks on wood), rails are always above their namesake in the bios, and i've got all that listed in my sig. I'd persoanally choose the OCZ over the ANTEC, thought the NE's were kinda troublesom, but i could be wrong as i've been totally out of the upity up on hardware for 6+ months

it was also the cheapest one, so i just bought one about 30 mins ago.

@ hobo: according to your sig you have 4 hard drives, two optical drives, and your gfx card all plugged into your 520w PowerStream?
do you overclock any? if you do, do you experience any instability when you overclock? ATM, i have 3 HDDs, two opticals and my gfx card, and i have another HDD sitting on my desk waiting to be put in. i'm worried that this extra HDD will make playing games unstable and whatnot because of the greater power flux.

so on monday i went to a job interview, and today i got an email. in the email, it was a proposal to begin working for this company. today, when i get home from work i will fax them my acceptance. I'm so excited to begin working for this company. and i bet some of you guys will be ummm.....jealous (i can't think of any other word that is best suitable at the momment) of me working for them. Things are looking to be very positive for me to start working there. When i do start working, i will make a thread to tell you guys where it is that i work at .

Alright, here goes (I'll mark where my recipe diverges from this one):
Crusty soft-center spoon bread
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Sift together:
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon suger
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon double-acting backing powder
Add:
3/4 cup yellow cornmeal
[I don't actually sift, I just mix together all the above ingredients with a fork until uniform in color]
Stir until well-blended [i.e. uniform in color]:
1 beaten egg [I just scramble it, not cooked though]
1 cup milk
[at this point I mix in about 1/3-1/2 lb uncooked ground meat or an equivalent volume of cheese. I just eyeball it so the volume of meat is a roughly half the volume of batter]
melt in a high-rimmed 8x8-inch baking dish: [you can use an 8x8 disposable square aluminum foil cake tin as well]
2 tablespoons butter [make sure to spread it evenly, including on the sides. I always melt it in the microwave then pour it in]
Pour in the batter [and meat or cheese]. Pour over the top:
1/2 cup milk
Bake 45 minutes or more, until good and crusty [I only bake 30 minutes. My oven is very hot, but I would start watching it at that point. It can go from not done to done really quickly. It is probably ready turn dark when the sides seperate from the tin. Have a cooking thermometer to make sure it is at least 160 degrees F inside. It is usually 200 for me. It is not really that important so long as you don't burn it and you can change the time depending on how hard you want it. Make sure the egg is cooked, you do not want to get sick and I take no responsibility if you undercook it]
I usually butter the top of the bread before eating it, but that is personal preference.

snow sucks.
it was 55 yesterday, today it was 37. we set a new record today, the most snow to fall the earliest in the year. was upto 3/4 of an inch around 5 this afternoon and im sure it hit an inch by the end of the day.
while it may not seem like much, we dont get this cold of weather and snow until november normaly. it should be about 60 degrees out for highs right now.
