Dell W3000 30-inch LCD Screen
http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/p...&page=external
My boss just picked this sweet little number up for under $2500. It displays DOOM3 and HL2 in the most God-Like fashion. Not too bad of a price for that size screen, either.

We have this screen and my boss's 20-Inch Flat Panel Monitor running our parts dispatch and case moniker here at work...it works great to have a Remote Desktop and a Wireless keyboard for MP games.

Thats more for TV/Video in is it not? Max Resolution: 1280x768 pixels...
16.7 million color support is that true 24 bit or the more common 18 bit which is quite prone to banding? what about the refresh timings 16ms or 25ms+?. I see the image brightness is 450 cd/m2 and the contrast ratio is 350:1 - wouldnt that translate to a rather dull image on a screen that large? ive never seen one so I couldnt say.

Yeah...but my boss has got some sort of bandwidth converter for his VGA ports...I'm not exactly sure what it is...but it's huge!

It's really not as bad as you think...it reads at 720p(Progressive) so there's hardly a dead/stuck pixel or banding at all. It's mostly used for displaying 30 or so windows at a time here at my work.

25ms as far as I know...from what I saw it was 75Hz...but that may have been the RD from my computer. The image it projects even with an RD(Remote Desktop) is freaking amazing. That also may be because of the Halogen backlight that slides in post-production though.
