help me shift this trojan/virus

sorry of this is in the wrong thread as i have no idea where else to put it

antivir keeps detecting this TR/HideRun.A.5

but i cannot find any info on it or how to remove it

so far i have tried

adaware 1.2 pro
spybot 1.3
antivir
the cleaner
and trojanguard but the f00ker is still there

anyideas anyone

short of a format C that is

have you tried running Norton or McAfee? My other idea is one you do not wish to do.

according to mcafee (http://vil.nai.com/vil/content/v_100396.htm) this is not a virus or trojan, but a tool to run applications hidden (not visible in the taskbar)...

If I were you I'd run a heuristic antivirus prog. like TB-AV or something just to be sure.

Antivir detected this file on my comp also. It was found in a cab file.
(bridge-c17.cab) Antivir will not remove a virus/trojan from a cab file, but you
can use the windows search tool to find the cab file and delete it.
The "bridge-c17.cab" file was found in temp internet files, and was safe to
delete from my sys.
