another snag is the animation part.. you need to be a golden member to use a flash signature, and trying to animate a GIF but keep it under the file size limits with limit the amount of animation available and the quality of the finished image.. but i will give the static image ago, if MIG isn't as i quite enjoy grunge

edit sorry if you were making one MIG

tell me about any changes you want to colour or font etc..

That one looks great! but i think it would look better with the first-first one you made...so if possible could you add the cross to the first one? if not this one is awesome!

Anyone please help,
I have been trying to do my own flash sig for sometime now, and I have had no success, and I lost my host about three or four months ago, so I cant get my old flash files back. Is there anyone else that can do flash sigs, I am not trying to be ungrateful or whine or complain, but I could do my own with a little help, I am one of the few gold members I think that still does not have a flash sig, and I am determined to get one, I just need some help...
I have had limited success with free flash programs, which one do you all recommend? I have PM'd quite a few people but I dont get any return PM's for some reason, so links would be cool. I dont often ask for help but I sure would appreciate it.

well it depends just how complicated you want it to be.. i can make a basic animation, but i dont know it well enough to get compresions perfect etc to have enough file-size.. i am also having problems hosting the one i have made for myself, but once i sort out some snags i will try and learn flash to a more advanced level

Danjufo, this is how the code is working for me in my profile:

(just add the missing signs at the beggining and at the end)

Thats okay Inaki, I appreciate your interest, but I understand your very busy, I just want to be able to do my own and find a workable solution to my hosting problems. I have found action to speak louder than words so I am going to have to build my own server and do it all myself, believe me, I know from experience recently that you cant crack the glass ceiling here, time to find my alternatives myself, I have had trouble getting any feedback for my hosting issues, so I am just going to be patient and do it all myself, I have given up asking for anything else.

I like the first image best. Could you drop the "Step into my playground" text to the bottom as seen in the second image? Might have to shrink the text just a bit or just loose the (....) so it wont cover up Brian's head.

Other than that it looks top notch!

OK, I just ordered my server

So, come tomorrow(or monday, depending on when they get the DNS all worked out...probably monday) I will be doing Sig and Avatar hosting as a free service(on a multi-megabit Fiber connection from a Linux server in Virginia). Here's how it will work:

-I WILL NOT be doing anonymous FTP, as it's a security hazard(this server will also be hosting my site, not just sigs/avatars), and it costs like, $30 a year more.

-I will speak to a mod about getting a sticky in which you post a link to whatever free host you temporarily dump your stuff off to(imageshack is preferred) and I will upload it and give you the link...I will probably go about uploading stuff once or twice a day, so please be patient.

-Any updates for nonstaff/gold/donating members will overwrite the old file, any staff/gold/donating members are more then welcome to keep multiple files on there to an extent(I have 500 megs...please don't abuse this)

-Flash WILL BE AVAILABLE for hosting(many sites don't allow it...I will), however, this will eb at my discretion, and if any particular files cause problems, I reserve the write to delete them(this goes for flash, or anythign else)

-I will be doing filenames based on a simple system: user_avatar or user_sig, if this bothers you....your SoL, I like to keep my server tidy

-That's about it...be looking for a sticky in the near future! Viva la DH!
