DNA DDoS Omegadrivers.net?

at 01/09 i started to host Omegadrivers.net because Omegadrive had "problems" with the old host service. since 15th until now my server is under attack by remote computers probably some DoSnet.
after reading this thread:

i have enough reasons to belive DNA crew or fanboys behind these attacks
anyway i will investigate and get to the source.
personally i never had something against DNA crew until i found out they stole Omegadrive's work and act very immature...
but attacking me? anyway DNA crew now you have business with me.
the former web hosters reported on two big DDoS attacks..
i just wounder.. who act like a child and could do something like that.. erm.. very interesting who have done this.. maybe its the same person that keep insulting ATI and keep flaming Omegadrive in his forums and keep acting like a 10 years old child.

anyway ill make few phone calls and ill take legal action about these attacks

That's from the DNA forums. If any one of their fanboys or members are actually doing this then they are a bunch of ****ing kids. Sad that it has to come to this.

I can't beleive this is happening. They are just driver sets....
When it comes down to it they are just WHQL ATI drivers with tweaks.

I have used both sets and found the DNA drivers much more difficult to remove and far less stable.

But some people just want to see 1more point on 3dmark instead of one minute of stable gameplay.

Hmm... quite an interesting issue.

Without taking any sides and jumping to conclusions. Regeneration, have you actually managed to track down any proof or at least some info leading the attack to DNA?

I wouldn't count on what the DNA guys have posted in their forums as proof, as the members there were having a great time criticising and laughing at Omega drivers from time to time, the very same way as Driverheaven criticises and laughs at his drivers for what seemed like eternity. There's just this hostility between the supporters of both drivers.

Anyway, I do hope you catch the culprit/idiot who did that to you as this isn't exactly my idea of 'fun'. Until then, lets keep the finger pointings down till you can get more proof. I think it's a more civilised and proffessional way of doing things instead of jumping to conclusions too quickly.

look normally I wouldnt be the type of person to be like "DNA DRIVERS SUXORZ!! LONG LIVE DH AND ALL THEIR IDEALS!!" I'm not like that...but I have to look at facts. DNA drivers jacked Omega's stuff. I mean seriously they really have.

Omega comes by this forum and spends his valuable time patiently listening to us whine that something isnt working right...then he fixes it. I dont think most people even think about exactly HOW generous he is to us.

Now lets look at that DNA driver dude (whats his name? Stealth? something like that anyway) From all of his posts that I have seen, hes bashed omega and dissed on him and told people how sucky omega drivers are and how great DNA drivers are.

Omega aspires to have the best drivers around...but I havent really seen him badmouth other drivers persay...just badmouth certain makers of driver mods...after they have already badmouthed him.

and btw after reading that thread up at the DNA drivers place...WTF IS WRONG WITH ASKING FOR DONATIONS?!?!!? jeez.

they act like little 12 yearolds. And use insults that I havent seen since middleschool.

those "disagreements" were flames… if you post constructive criticism about something it is fine, and actually helps, but shouting "xxxxxx is s**t" gets you no-where at all.

if DNA was behind this attack the have a lot to answer for.

well Omega is really working hard!
he has job and family and STILL hes helpin people in the forums! thousands of emails and he keep helping people. trust me its like full time job!
he work like a corporation (support,development,etc..) and he always keep it up for very long time (3dfx,nvidia,ati) and its really piss me off to see dumb people flame or steal his work and try to attack his website/domain.. its really lame.

personally i have no clue why ATI or another corp havent hired him yet because hes really really good as you can see.

its really sad when stupid people act like that to such a good person who really work hard for the community. its not only he dont deserve such a treatment. he deserve the community support in any form

and i speak as a person! not as Omega fan or DH fan or anything in this form!
it because other people should appericate people like Omegadrive and Chris

because respect is everything

well lets hope the issue is soon resolved. I have to say I am impressed that so far this thread has not turned into a total flamefest. Personally i would rather not have this type of thread active unless there is proof positive that the DNA troops are behind the said attacks. Since it is active though lets keep it on track and not a flamewar. If anyone can assist the NGO group in their efforts that would be great.
