How Do I Add A Pic To My Signature

I have been trying to do this for 2 days. I cant figure it out. Somebody tell me if I can do this?

Here's what I tried. I have a SBC Yahoo DSL account where I can store files on the Internet for the public to view. So I uploaded a pic of the Sig I want to use. I went to the file clicked on it so my pic was showing in a window, Then, I copied the address of that pic that was in the address bar. I went to my profile, selected Edit Signature, and deleted the text signature I had. then I clicked on the insert image icon. A window poped up saying insert the url to the image, and I pasted the address I copied and hit OK. I see the pic of my sig in the box now, but when I selected save and go to a post I made, just the written address (a link) is in the signature area of my posts. I can click on the link and I get a window with the pic of my sig.

Man, how do I get the pic to show as my sig as others have it?

add the [img]yoururl[/img] the img tags, add those and you should see your sg

Do what. exactly? It didnt seem to work, but maybe I did it wrong. Where do I put this in the Url window that pops up after clicking the image icon, or where? Do I use the brackets and are you aware there is a forward / in the last set of brackets? So do I include all that's in the quotes: "[img]yoururl[/img]" ?? except I place my url where it says your url?

It won't make it an image because yahoo is using scripting so it doesn't end in what vB recognises as an image extension .jpg .gif etc. I've uploaded it to my DH space and it works fine, so you need use a host where the actual file can be referenced.

I actually did it three times, and twice you overwrote it with the original link that wouldn't work.

Thanks Craig5320, I had no idea you were hosting it. I just thought you were letting me know I need to get another host besides my Yahoo Briefcase, LOL Thanks

pr0digal jenius: thanks for noticing my new Sig.

I'm a Sonar user who is a Driver Heaven Maniac Powered By kX, hehe I'm glad you like it. I did this one myself, I got bored and started learning Photoshop. DJ_Stick is gonna make me one using his talents, then, I can alternate between using two Sigs. I hope to have a website soon. So I'm learning to design me some webpages using FrontPage. I will place the link in the Sig, if I luck out and get the free webhosting I'm looking for.

BTW, I like your new avatar.
