yes its a great server. it should handle easily double+ the amount of our highest online count with ease - 5K+. it would be more down to the line being maxxed than any problems for the dual xeons.....

I can't wait to see the day when 5k+ are online at the same time!
-I'm sure it will happen, just a matter of time..

I think it's because the forum and frontpage are now together. It's counting frontpage visitors as forum visitors.

I think it's always counted forums and front page- when it was working correctly anyways.

That's good to hear. I was sorta under the impression it was slowing down considerably. I guess thats because I have not been around for a couple of weeks now.
That's allot guys. Keep up the good work.
By the way. Someone needs to do something about the forum. Hopefully people who have posted there will read this and they can go correct it themselves.
Since the site was updated to vBulletin Version 3.0.3, the way PhpBB set fonts and font sizes has changed. Allot of old posts will have really large text in them due to this. Not a real big deal except In the "INDEPTH: Post your rig specifications" thread in the Overclocking category of the forum. This has turned into quite a good reference guide. There is allot of good information in there that users will refer to for help with there own PC's or just for a reference. If we could try to get it fixed that would rock.
Sorry for the off change of topic. Wooooowwhh. 2500 pc's connected, That's quite the load. I wonder how many users it would take to cause the site to lag.

I think that it is because they come looking for information, and to download drivers,
but they think that they have nothing to contribute, so they don't post.
I know, I was like that when I first joined.

First Real Forum I've stayed with...
First off, The technology is great and the forums are active... Still fell fairly new around here.. but It's just so darn Nice
First came here for sound and video drivers and questions.... Keep coming around since it's been so good to me, ya know great Job
but with say 5k users possibly entering a contest my chances are even slimmer lol

which is great, got me trough the first two years, after that i decided to register because... dunno anymore tbh, just because DH rocks probably
sometimes you just gotta give something back i'm even thiking about donating now.
Guess what would happen if all active members leave just one dollar ? I know, Zardon retires and buys a nice island for him and stuart
*btw, what's the usuall donated amount ?
