Someone with Nitro RC car experience please

Hello,

I just bought a pre-assembled RC nitro shifter

I'm having a little problem with it though... I'm trying to run the engine in

I'm trying to idle the engine... it idles for the first few seconds... but the throtle gradually increases by itself and the wheels begin to turn then they get faster and faster until it eventually cuts out... I can't seem to find anything on this in the manual or online... any ideas?

it seems as though I've got it sorted... now all I need to do is figure out where best to set the fuel valve and I'm ready to roll!

u need to ajust the carb to lean and richen the gas to air mix. there is a flathead screw that comes out of the carb that let you change those. i have a team associated rc10GT that does about 55
