new star wars movie any good?
well I didnt like the first one, the phantom menace, actually I thought it was pretty crap, is this one any better.
at least jar jar isnt in it. thats something

Actually, Jar Jar is in it, but doesn't have much of a role.
Between the two movies, this one is MUCHO better than Phantom Menace. Don't miss it!

Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones is a hell lot better than the first one. But still the love story developed too fast and confusing.
Why besides Obiwan got blasted in the space by Jango Fett I didn't see any other so-called "Star Wars"? I think more should be the fight in space rather than the land battles.
Also, YODA ROCKS!

Call in the SW expert
You rookies bumped up this thread. I thought this thread was concerning SW Episode III. 
The Phantom Menace was a decent flick. It had some great scenes (duel of the fates, water chase, etc...) most of it was sub-par though.
Attack of The Clones was great. 
I think the Geonosis arena battle at the end of Episode 2 was worth the price of admission alone. |

Episode 2 is a much better movie than Episode 1. I tried watching phantom menace the other day, and had to turn it off. Complete crap.

Episode II was a special effects extraveganza. I guess there' s a story to it, but I just liked the F/X.
I thought the originals had a more reaslistic feel to them though, the newer ones....well....everything is too clean and shiny, IMO.

I personally think THE Yoda scene was the best of the film...and well worth the price of admission.

Episode 1 was vary disapointing(almost fell asleep when I saw it in theaters  ).
Episode 2 however was a much better movie. If you ignor that fact that annie aged like 10 year and paddy there only aged like what? 1-3 years max? Little un realistic but I could live with it . The effects rocked and the fighting was awsome along with the acting not being half bad this time around (The actor cast for annie agian sucked yet agian imo though)
And why are we rising a thread from last year? |

Yes it was great, but the duel was a DRAW!
If he doesn't fight in E3 I will be really mad arg... 
Basically all the fight scenes were worth admission alone.
