on the dole again
Just got laid off, with about another thousand IBM employees to begin the ardous task of finding employment again. I was looking forward to saving enough for a new car but the axe fell today.
The department of defense has pulled the plug on our operation and sending us our final checks within two weeks, I asked to go home tommorow so I can find another job. I have been working on my job hunting skills, so here goes...."want fries with that sir"?, or "care to supersize that sir?"....lol.....christ

Damn, sorry to hear that man. Kinda looking for another job myself. I thought the economy was heading right back up in the computer world. Guess I better not get my hopes too high.  |

Try Fedex/Kinkos I'm pretty sure they're hiring, so long as you're not a standard co-worker person the tech jobs etc aren't too bad.
