Your job and what you do at work
What is your job title and what do you do at work on a daily basis, both as actual work and maybe a little extracurricular stuff?
In my case I help customers troubleshoot their hi-speed internet connection/e-mail problems over the phone. I'm classified as an Agent. I do a lot of talking with mostly dumb ppl who should probably not own computers in the first place. Hence, I get lots of internet surfing/reading/forum posting done on the side, as the job comes fairly easy

my job isn't very interesting, but i am a busser at a seafood restaurant. mainly we clean the tables, keep the glasses and ice around the restaurant stocked and keep the restaurant as clean as possible, amongst other things. it does get to be quite boring and tiresome at times, but the tips i get at the end of the night make up for it, well at least sometimes it does... but sweeping my section can be a b*tch at the end of the night, cuz ur tired from carrying heavy trays of dishes for the whole night...

I used to wash dishes and prepare some appys at a casual dining restaurant, but never got into the waiting/bussing thing. I was going to start training for it but I ended up getting a full time job somewhere else. It was a really fun job while it lasted, but too few hours and minimum wage was tough to cope with.

yeah it can be a real b*tch on really slow nites, especially during the winter time. i do need to find another job for this winter coming up, cuz last winter the pay was horrible. but on decent nites, i usally make $100+, which isn't very much, i know, but considering that i can walk out with it and not have to wait at the end of 2 weeks makes up for it... plus i usually work 4 nites a week. though i already have missed 2 nites, cuz i did oral surgery on tues and i am still a lil swollen and hurting...

I was a dish-washer in my youth. I enjoyed it a great deal.
There is a lot to be said for fast-passed work. May not pay much, but when I look back it was a lot of fun.
I was able to hire-fire as well, the boss liked my methods!
Was only 16 at the time, but I was out on my own making a living and supporting myself.

Right now I work a full time as sales at PC Club. The pay is pretty good i guess. All i do all day long is sell computer components or complete systems. On my free time...well pretty much when there's nothing else to do and no customers in the store, all of us play UT2004 on our demo systems . That place is pretty great to work at.
In a couple weeks i'll be going to school part time on top of keeping my full time job.

I was one the last 4 and a half years, and I must say, it's far more work and much more stressful than most (edit: any ) jobs.

My job consists of basically masking my contempt for the assholes in charge, and, at least once a day, retiring to the men's room so I can jerk off while I fantasize about a life that doesn't so closely resemble Hell.

I'm currently jobless (well, student). My last job was a desk job for an environmental project that involved reading books of my choice half the time, and planting trees once a week.

 very nice one Mr. Spacey
I'm the person in charge of the marketing and design department. I design comunication campaigns, speak and negotiate with the mass media and, of course my favourite part, create graphic and multimedia content.

Currently:
Full time job:
I'm CREW at burger king, with a varing schedule.... Ranging any of the 24 hours for up to 8 hour shifts.
I have been asked if i'd like to be promoted (i've actually be offered the promotion) to Shift Co or Shift Super visor (which is basically a lesser form of manager). The job would have provided probably 1/3 more money considering i'm working for minimum wage right now ($6.65). I refused it, it's not worth it... to me, i'm content with making food and preping and doing various other things.
Secondary Job: I'm currently my own boss
I build, Repair, Upgrade and make many suggestions for computers. My own bisness, one man bisness, just recently i nailed my first contract with a company, building some concept machines. Later on they will be getting a network and servers and various other things. Should be interesting...
Third Intermitent job: V/A DJ
I provide a wide selection of music for various dances..... but it just isn't the music.... it's the visuals that get people. Armed with my computer, a monitor, keyboard, mouse, a damn good amp and speaker system (up to 4 amplifieres and 28 speakers (or more)), not to mention the major factor, a HIGH quality Projector, and Winamp with Milkdrop. I can provide some preconfigured or costum presents for some of the most entaining dances... more projects = more elaberate displays..... it's freaking sweet...
4th intermitent job: od jobs, More Hard Labour wise.... anything almost..
