watched it too.very well deserved.
very focused on what she wanted, and beat the defending champ also.
sharapova had the concentration towards the game, instead of the combined modelling career.
something Anna Kournikova did not do,she had the potential.
sharapova could very well become one of the all time players of tenis,at the age of 17 she has bags of time to show it.
also a bit of a hottie

Yeah. Serena got owned She did put up a fight on the 2nd set of games though. I also do admire Serena's grace and sportsmanship.
The men's championship will be a good one too with Andy Roddick.

Enjoyed the final immensely, especially the 'from behind' camera angle!

Nope, I watched it for the tennis. My bro and I watched actually.. We busted out the DreamCast to play a few matches of Tennis ourselves. Tennis 2K2 is an awesome Tennis game. It's also great for parties.. Doubles Tennis..oh man hilarious times. I want to get Top Spin when it hits PC.

Not old age..
Call it cluttered memory. Too much to "files" in that head of yours too sort out. The only "old' tennis game I've played was in Capcom All Stars for the CPS2 Arcade. Try one of the modern tennis games.. they're fun with friends If you have an X-Box try (rent) Top Spin. Gamespot didn't give it a 9.1 for nothing.
