put up a pic

this is probably posted up somewhere....but how do you put up a picture on a thread/reply?

First, you must have somewere you can upload the image to.... A host...

Alot of people use Villagephoto's ( http://www.villagephotos.com/ )

Then

Using the IMG button above the text box you use to print.... you place the URL (address) of the image at your host into this message box that will appear....

Hit ok... and it should display....

Unfortuneatly... DH i doubt would be able to support the load and overall ammount of images if they were to allow File/Image Attachments.... the space and bandwidth consumed would be outragious....

If you need more help... just ask.... i'm sure we can provide more...

blah! just tried it, the pix i tried uploading it said were too large....they're already *.jpg format, and those are as small as they can go. don't know how else i could downsize the photo.

maybe change the Resolution... some pictures from say a camera are 2048x1536 or higher.... which are OMG, WAY huge.... downsize to 640x480 or 800x600..... that'll save alot of space...
