Kudos to Chrysler
I have to give a big old Kudos to Chrysler for doing something that all other companies should be doing. They held this Gold Medal Tour in which that they are going around to diff CDN cities while giving consumers a chance to drive some sweet ass cars. Check it out
http://www.goldmedaltour.ca
I booked myself in with a few friends, in which i tested out the Magnum, CrossFire, SRT4, 300C, Dodge Ram Hemi and finally the Viper SRT 10.
All i can say about the SRT Hemi Ram and the Viper is, breath taking. The viper wasat 130ish while only being in 2nd gear. I never had my testicals left back at the starting line like this before. Friggn sweeeet i tell yeah. Not very flashy on the inside, tho, the cars performance is outstanding. There where some power slides that the car just stuck and swung through them like it was nothing. Even the Ram hemi felt the same way. Very little body lean and almost as fast. The thing that caught my attention most tho, is on how fast the viper and Ram can stop so quickly and effortlessly. No body sway at all. With only a few feet to spare, the cars had no problem for stoping at the end while at such a high speed. Simple fantastic. Also they had the SRT4 on there. very pleased with the performance. The car took off nicely, and kept wanting to go faster. With 220hp the car bogies just nice with its size and weight. The interior is kinda wimpy tho. Seems cheap.
Went off roading, simualted of course. They ripped up some yeard and created a simple yet effective course. Many up hills and such in which pushed the jeeps from one vertical extreme to the other. Wish tho i could of taken these things for a long harder try out. The engines where screaming for more of a test. played with the Grand Cher, TJ Limited Edition, and the Liberty. The grand Cher is nice, tho it takes the fun out of off roading. The suspension is too soft inwhich the ride is way to smooth. The others where stiffer in which u really felt like your chugging away on a mountain. The Liberty is prolly the best of out all of them. Great mixture of class and fun. The TJ is just fun. More for the hardcore off roaders.
The crossfire, PT crusier Turbo, and Pacifica where on road courses. I was able to ride a nice flsahy blue 2.4Turbo PT in which i was pleased with the ride and comfort, tho, performance wasnt that nifty. Take off was the sad part, tho, once u brought it up to speed, the passing power wasnt that bad. The Crossfire is nice nice. Thats all i gotta say. The car fits like a glove, and handles like a gokart. Take off is not bad, tho it shines once you start to pick up steam. It begs for speed.
Lastly the Magnum and 300c had its own course in which had a small skid pad to show off its traction system, and was made up of many sharp curves and such. The thing that killed me when i first got there, was that i wasnt hearing any rubber squeeling. I was like WTF... they want us to push the cars, yet no one was doing so. So, by the time me and my friend was up, we just smiled and got ready for some real fun. Every turn that we did we cranked the wheel around while laying on the gas. Smoke and squeels where everywhere. IT was awesome. For such big cars, these things handle like a small Honda. Very responsive yet they have the HEMI power at the touch of your baby toe. Very power hungry machines wth a nice touch of splash.
BUT yes... very angery seeing that i wanted to make a movie of the Viper while i was being driven around. My bud went again on Sunday in which he said he'll try to core some better pics. Have yet to hear from him. If done so, ill post them as well.
As for Chrysler, they are pushing themselves to a new boundary with these machines, yet i still have concerns about the quality. How long will these last?
OKokokok... enough of me babling. Here are the pics!
I HIGHLY suggest you view them at the default res that i took them at, W-2592 x h-1944, instead of the 1024x768. I had to dummy them down a bit in order to save bandwidth.

Yeah, tho i wish i could of taken a movie from withn the car its self. Tho i have a cllip of me standing on the outside of the course as the cars/trucks fly by. Just need to host it. My buddy is freaking out already seeing that im using 80% of his bandwidth!
YEah, u know what DOM. Out of all the cars that i test drove there, the Magnum would prolly be the one to get. I mean, besides obviously the Viper the CrossFire is a sweet car as well, tho, a bit pricey for what one gets. If it was cheaper, then yeah. That would be my 1st choice. THe 300c is nice nice yet it looks a little to oldish for me. The magnum looks meanier and such in which IMO it makes more of a statement when seen in the road.

That would be cool.. its nothing special as some of the drivers are passive. Just make sure u watch the first Viper and the 2nd RAm (not as in the 2nd car, but the 2nd time as it goes by), they are prolly doing about 90-100kmhr around that turn!
How would u like me to send it? Email?

Im not too much of a truck fan, but, im reallly liking that DoDge Ram Hemi. Just imagine that thing tailgating yeah!!
FAst too.. Almost as quick as the Viper.
The best things about these machines, is that they stop so bloody quick. The Viper and Ram stopped almost instantly while doing such speeds, and with zero sway as well. I was left there going... Wow. NOW i know how a 500hp sport car feels.
