Things as yet Undreampt (Clip) MUSIC

Clip from one of my hundreds of somewhat melodical Shred the Fretboard until
woodchips fly Guitar pieces.

This is a 2 minute clip from a tune I call Things as yet Undreampt"

All guitar, midi drums, and other bombast played by me.

Made with an
American Fender Strat

Digitech RP200 (Yuck...I know)

n-Track from FaSoft (See above comment)

and Audigy Gamer sound card

It's loud so prepare. It's also a WMA 256 file so it's not exactly...small.
(3.6 mb OR SO)

Also, if you use Windows Media Player, it sounds best with the EQ at Default,
and no SRS/WOW at all.

This is another piece I'm still working on,
what you might actually call, half-half arsed produced and mixed
as I do and will try to keep all portions of the piece hearable at all times.
Lead...A N D backing melodies, chords, drums...little mistakes.

I always record live, never punch-in. I either get it decent the first coupla times
or I just save it for some other time.

I need to ad the main shredding to this one, mostly after the slower introduction,
starting about the 1 minute 13 second mark.

This has 3 themes really...

Just need to shred a little, crossfade the tempo changes, and do some minor
clean-up. Oh and reduce the treble in the last section starting at 1:47
Be warned I didn't know this mixed like this. I get confused with all this
mixing. Would rather just play and let someone else mix the sh^7

Piece is called Breaking Wings

BREAKING WINGS 60% DONE by BMG

This one is kinda funny. ondering:

I was just playing around with a Wah-Wah, which is
something I almost never use. I also was using a few pentatonic ("Blues")
based scales along with my usual minor modals, chromatics, and diminished domains,
for my wailing.

Definitely not for someone who doesn't like Guitar solos vintage mid-80's.

You'll also hear a coupla bars of Eddie V's Eruption I threw in there for fun.

I call it "That Wawka Wawka Weow Stuff, or "Wakka Weow" for short.

Enjoy? ...who cares?

Wawka Wawka

ewef

Damn, that's a 256kbps WMA? I haven't heard production that bad since the mayhem demo...

Sounds interesting, cool for a solo or something.

Yeah...I'm using some really primitive equipment. Basically one good guitar and about
$2 worth of near musically useless hardware.

I'm in the process of getting a decent Home studio going. So I can capture some better playing.

for amping the guitar… you should get a DI box, i think behringer has em for about $25 or so… and then connect that to the line in port of the soundcard, much better quality. Or if you can afford a small mixer that would work also

I'm going to do one better than that.

My thinking right now, is that my first coupla' paychecks next month will get me:

My American Strat--->Boss Compressor/Sustainer--->Boss GS6 or PODXT--->Marshall Valvestate Twin--->4x12 miked Cab--->Tascam 4 or 8-track recorder---.......then we'll see what I need to make Yngwie
Malmsteen sound like a pedestrian.
