I've already got a ticket

Anyone see pitch black?

They rereleased a special eddition of the movie in dvd format which includes a free admission to 3 specific theaters.. (luckily... we have but just one theater... and the ticket does match)

I really enjoyed pitch black... and the new one is looking very...very interesting...

the orginal version is ok... but this special eddition referred to right off the label (Directors Cut SPE)

The extended version is more impressive as it includes alot more of the start of the movie... and a little more interesting things abite short... through the rest... Makes it much better..

Anyone see pitch black? yea the end 1/3 couple knights ago. Hopefully it's on starz and I’ll just on demand it for free

btw: Some of the characters/story line carry over to the new movie. It’s kind of a sequel kind of not they said

in the makeing of featurette on my pay channel...

you might be able to pick up the DVD of pitch black of the special eddition for extremely cheap... i got mine for $17 canadian

and this is full digital cable so it looks decent

indeed...I've had pitch black on DVD for a year or 2 and watch it often, and Riddick does not dissappoint..so enjoy!

Flipping damn right... and there isn't any bloody BS in this movie... aside from one occasion when it's a little on the ...lot... of the far side.... but damn.... loved it

I personally thought pitch black was very poorly directed, but then again...I like Robocop (Extended Edition is SO full of gore, whee!).

The chronicles or Riddick is going to be a completely different movie though, which gives it the chance to be awesome. Even though those Roman-esque consumers of all human life guys are kinda corny in the preview...the effects look spiffy!

...actually... my own and others... opinion.... it's no different.. in the additionals on the pitch black dvd i have with riddick stuff.... they REALLY didn't want to sway at all from the orginal pitch black atmosphere....
