THE CHIEF EXECUTIVE of the Bank of Ireland has been forced to step down after admitting that his office computer was packed with porn.
Mike Soden apparantly used his PC to access a porn site while trying to book a Las Vegas escort agency ahead of a business trip to the US city, so that he would not be lonely when he visited foreign parts.
He told hacks at the FT that the content was not illegal but did contain links to material of an adult nature. Soden said that what he did was nothing worse than parking on the wrong side of the street. The INQ assumes that he means that he expected a good clamping rather than a sacking.
There can't be too many executives that stand down over a parking fine either.
