That thread seems to be a deliberate attemp to infact users PCs with spyware. If that was posted here, and spammed throughout the forums like that, the poster would most likely be banned, and the duplicate threads would be deleted.

you sure they'd be deleted.... i'm pretty confident that not all of them wouldbe..... if anything... threads merged closed..... link removed... as for historical reasons.... people know "who" (being Member) was being an idiot.... i would think banning would be of course more likely then warning... as spamming an intrusive link all over the place is a no no.....

Messenger Plus! is not in it self spy ware but when you install it. It gives you an option to install a toolbar/advertiser which the proceeds from the data collection support the programs devolvement. Kind of like the tool bar you can download an use that helps DH

It's purely optional
