Paycheck... what the? Why?
Why didn't this movie bring in much of anything at all... i mean... the previews were extremely short... there was basically zero time between it's leaving of the theater and boom... being on video and at block buster or rogers.... (for rent)
this was a movie i would have been seriously willing to pay straight out 10$ for at a movie theater...
Of course like any movie.... it has it's uh.... unrealistics... but usually they go overboard instead of under...
For example... when a few dozen gallons of Liquid Nitrogen ignites... and i mean a few dozen gallons..... it just doesn't blow up a few VERY Large rooms.... it would level a entire floor let alone a entire city block probably..... I swear i watched on Dicovery channel different explosives... and C4 or TNT didn't have the explosive power liquid nitrogen did..... (reason liquid nitrogen isn't used blowing stuff up is obviously.. it just way to damn volitile.... and fairly unpredictable)
Anyways..... there is only one other thing that would have been obviously wrong... but not really of concern ANYWAYS....
GREAT movie.... i'd give it a full 4 1/2 stars
(gotta love reversed puzzlings )

Yeah I agree, a good movie indeed. I found one thing particularly funny though, all the 20 items he has are used in clever ways, like the papers in the stamp and the key that was for the mall...i thought he would do something with the lighter/hair spray to help him solve a peice of the puzzle instead he uses it as a blow torch on one of the guards. Hilarious.

i thought at first maybe this might bring ben affleck's respect back as an actor WRONG. I never saw the movie but I heard it sucked from enough ppl.
off topic- judas you are a VIP member of rogers, they should give you 10% off on your rentals. I live 5 mins from the corporate HQ of rogers they got a rogers video there they said to show my VIP card and they'll do it for me. I pay for rogers digital and hi-speed internet.

I thought paycheck was a damn fine movie as well. I'm surprised it didn't do better, way better than Timeline or God forbid, Kill Bill, uggh.

it was liquid HYDROGEN that they used. why i do not know. nitrogen is much more effecient, cheaper(most of our atmosphere is nitrogen- very inert), & MUCH safer.
i do like the movie though. not sure why it did not do a little better at the box office. probably has something to do with gigli- marketing.

The problem is Ben Afleck and his atrocious acting. He is a miserable actor IMO and after his movie with J-Ho, I think there is a bad taste in people's mouths. DareDevil also disgusted me. The whole time I was wondering when the movie with Ben in a funny costume would end.
Paycheck is actually a good movie. Just not as great as it could have been with a good actor.

NO2 = Nitrogen Dioxide
Nitrous Oxide = N2O

neither is flammable, but they are dangerous: they are strong oxidizers.
when they come into contact with flammables (eg. gasoline), they cause an explosion

. . . no I am not a mad scientist
