i'm not completely sure on the specs as the provided manual doesn't TELL YOU ANYTHING... but to take it to your nearest Pontiac dealer... gaud... i hate these stupid manufactures.... sucking the life outa the normal consumer.. then again... it seems noone knows enough about cars to even change the oil themselves.. or even a flipping battery...
What i get from the specs is 160BHP, weight is approxmately 1.5 tons... torque... i think i recall 120ft lbs? (i can't remember... i might be getting mixed up on another car).... 0-60mph (0-100km/h) is approxmately 15-19 seconds...
Top speed... 240km/h + (trust me.. i know..lol... 19km stretch testing it out and i had it at 230km/h and i still have 2000 rpm's before it would hit the yellow.... and 500 another 500rpm on top of the before the start of the redline... but damn.. that's hard on an engine)
it has 80,000km on it so far.... i paid 9 grand for it... i got it apraised for just over 16 grand..... 1 year Registration is over $1800.. 3 months is $380
IF anything happens.... it could be almost totalled... and SGI would completely rebuild it due to the extremely excellent condition it's in AND the super low amount of km on it...
Also.. the rims/tires are not standard... i have i think 4 more inches wider then what was available for an option for the widest.....
Also... front takes 35 pounds which is normal.... the back however are larger and take 44 pounds (which most gas stations won't provide if i ever have to fill them up....)
3.1 Litre in it right now.. it's automatic...... i had to get the power steering pump seals replaced (9 years isn't bad and 75,000+km for them is well considered)....i had a serious short at work during latenight.... and now either my alternator is toasted or i have a short somewhere... or my power madulator is toast... (i had my car plugged in cause it was -40*C without the windchill.... i came outside after 8 hours and found the extension cord i was using a puddle of glowing red plastic and wire...... luckily it didn't damage the exterior of the car.. all seemed fine untill a few days after when i started having issues...)
I'm looking to get a preformance Alternator.. as GM in general Alternators don't like HIGH rpm....

i have a 91 accord ex-r (or just EX in the usa), 210 000km and it runs beautifully, i wanna take a pic of it. problems it has is a hole in the exhaust creating a bit of noise, the side mirror hanging a bit cause it was hit but the power mirror works on it, and the front speakers are blown out, im changing them when im taking over it.
i have a sony xplod deck which is 52x4 and a remote very good deck i have to say and it was pretty cheap.

alot of people have have say 15+ inch subwoofers and say that they wished they had not bought them.. instead have gotten all 6x9 speakers...... 6x9's put out alot of good quality base....
the 1973 olds i had, had 2 3inch kenwood 40 watt tweaters in the front..... and 2 6x9+3inch tweeters (6x9 rated 140 watts and the tweeter also 40 watts but all built as one)... in the back..
all powered by a 40x4 old style cd-rom (1997 i think)
No amp... nothing extra... professional installed... and pumping out better quality sound and more base then these guys with there 1200 watt amps and 4000+ $ stereo systems..... i even had a comment from another guy that wanted to hear it who had put 5 grand into his vichel.... he ask me if he could check it out and that he had heard about my stereo... i said... sure... i'll pop in a few tunes that stress the highs and lows.. (best being Injector from Need for SPEED 5 PU)
simply to say.... he was pissed when he found out how good it sounded.... EVEN from a distance outside the car....

Nice Judas, but are you sure that your car only does 0-60 mph in 15-19 sec or were you just joking??

15-19 sounds about right...my 4 door Civic pulls out about an 18....MAYBE a 17 if i get a good launch, with 0-60 round about 9 seconds on it's 1.4 litre 4 cylinder pushign about 128 HP....so i'd guess 15-16 is about right for it's 1/4 mile time

whoopps... i was thinking 1/4 mile... lol.... it does about 6-8 seconds 0-60mph..... lol..... my 1973 olds would do 0-60mph in about 3 seconds... (seriously....) 0-100 in about 20 seconds due to us changing up the 2nd gear ration (so it doesn't burn as much gas)....... first gear results in 0-40 in about 1 seconds... boy that's fun..... at a full stop... nailing the gas in 1st results in a small lerge of the front end poping off the ground (maybe an inch... but considering the frontend ways probably 1.5 tons).... then the car just sits there and smokes the tires till you let off a bit so that you can get some traction.... nothing like 5 seconds into a burn and litterly seeing flames from the smoldering tires.....

15 inch subs will by far beat any 6X9s you install lol....granted some people go and cheap subs or dont know how to hook them up or set them up correctly. 15 give very very deep bass....12 inchs subs produce a good amount of bass. But for some cheap "sounding" and no "feeling" bass you can get some nice 6X9's

Um......ok
1973 Olds
Here are a few cars for compare.
About the same weight....ALOT more horspower
the EXTREME
My full fledged....purpose built drag car barely jerks the wheels.......at the track......with over 500 HP and shift points of 7200 RPM........on slicks........with no tire slippage and 5000 RPM stall RACE torque convertor....going into a TCI Race 727 transmission, with a Cheetah manual reverse valve body........going into a race prepped 3.91 geared Sure Grip rear end........and it runs low 11's in the quarter. Also I have been doing and around burn outs.....in parking lots.....streets........back roads.....drag strips......all kinds of tires......and using all kinds of stuff to make it slick "bleach, water, and so on"........never in my life have a ever seen a tire catch on fire......if a tire gets that hot........it will EXPLODE.......seen it many times
I dont mean to nit pick......or bust you out......but DUDE.........that was just to much exaggeration to stomach

uh yes... but you've probably never seen a 30 year old tire catch fire.... let alone a set of 15 year old tires with cleets on pavement...
btw... all the newer vichels are BHP... not dino tested at putting such and such a horsepower at the ground..
i'm sure you know your stuff.... but it's VERY interesting seeing these older cars with the big blocks in EXCELLENT condition put these newer cars to shame.... seriously..
this is rather halarious.... satisfying...
durring one night.... just heading into the fall.. the air getting crisp and colder.... (this is when the car really shines for raw horses as this specific kind of conditions.... seems to really meet up PERFECTLY for it.... personality this car has very noticeably)
anyways.... it's say 11:00 or 12ish at night..... not a damn car in sight in the city.... just the street lights... this guy pulls onto the main dragstreet my dad happended to be sitting on waiting for a light to turn green... well we know how everything goes.... the guy pulls up a his new and shiny Ford Mach 1 eddtion.... (new 2004) and obviously noticed that the olds had some brute force just from the clean heavy sound of the car... (and the front end )....
Dad slips the car into 1st.... waits for the light.... nails the pedal to the floor.... and watches the other guy leap forward (a good 2 car lengths) and this guy gingerly looks back and smirks..... strangely... this didn't last long as at a little ways further up... were face to face again for a split second and passing him quite quickly....
i've raced a 86 Camero... a thunderbird... and various other cars that are around....
But this car will NOT touch my mothers 1978 Cobra 2 Mustang with a Boss 2 302 full bore loaded high output heavy cam... various other tweaks done....
that there is a 10 second car.....it blows the doors off anything around... even takes on the racecar that a local person has...
now if only we could get a 429 Super Jet..... lol..
(we were planning on putting a turbo kit on the mustang.... but then.....)
