Default Post Slow Week

Is it just me or has it been a really slow week???

Not much new stuff out they must be saving up for the fall season...

Anyone hear the rumors of a SP1 1099 release? Were we all asleep for 1091,1092,1093,1094,1095,1096,1097,1098

Only Interesting thing this week has been acouple of people in the forum with
VERY low intelligence quotas.

Default Post Slow? SLOW?!?!?

Well maybe for you, but when there's nothing new to download I always seem to be able to find some way to keep the old geek juices flowwing! I switched mobos, vid cards, memory & CPUs, swapped out all my fans on all my systems, re-installed 98se on two boxes, & ended up breaking 8200 3dm2k1se for all my efforts.

It's only as slow as you let it be...maybe today I'll try setting up all the boxes to get back into folding, it's really been too long since I did something productive with all my CPU cycles.

Right now I'm seeing if I can bend/shape/file old copper pennies into heatsinks for my 8500...but I think I'll be moving to silver quarters or copper lug nuts pretty soon.

Default Post Sure!

I play my fave almost non-stop, 3dm2k1se!

Actually, I'm sort of waiting for the ever present "next" game to come out. I think I've done all the 3D first-person shooters ever made and am just waiting for something new.

Right now I just keep playing GTA3 a lot, although I'm thinking of going back and retrying SoF2 now that my rig can run it decently.

To be honest though I think you're right. I have been tweaking more than playing lately, but that's ok 'cause tweaking is a form of playing for me. Whatever makes the brain hum easier, that's what it's all about for me. Whether that involves killing terrorists/monsters or playing around with drivers or bios settings just depends on my mood/aggravation level...as long as I can relax and enjoy myself without hurting anyone I figure it's all good.
