Heatsink hell
Oh my gosh I got my SP-97 heatsink by thermal right today and ive been working from 3 now its 10... any way I got it I put all of the stuff right in how the instructions said and than I got the fan I bought AND THEY DIDINT ADD A 3 PIN Molex thing so now I have 3 wires so I waited tell about 5 my mom got home to get me this 3 pin Molex little thing BUT they don’t sell them so I had to cut the wires of one 3pin thing I found that had wires than I had to twist the wires together and connect to the cpu thing on the mother board.. any way after that I get on my pc its working fine and all of a sudden BAM it shuts off I turn it on one more time and my motherboard says its 80CELCIUS!@#!@ than I look at the instructions again and i put it on the wrong way.. after i get threw the hassle of putting it in the right side i put the fan on it and i turned on my pc and guess what ITS 70C now and the temp is going up and down so i put my hand inside to see what’s up so I tried to move the fan and it hit my hand and it like ripped off a bit of skin and it broke off one of the fan propeller things and all of a sudden this huge shake happened than my pc shut down again... I don’t know what the heck to do so I said I don’t feel like working with this any more so I tried to take out every thing and 2 standoffs were to tight so it took me about 30 min to get them off.. after that I get my old heatsink tried to put it on took a while but it was fine and i turn on my pc and all of a sudden I don’t have internet any way I found a way to fix it now my whole body is sore and im tired
Any way heres pics of what i had
Sorry for my spelling im super tired and I just typed this out fast lol :/ hopefully I can get another fan and get this thing to work
