Summers on the way!
I'm sitting here with the window open as its been warm today - spring in full swing with summer just round the corner.
For the first time, tonight I can hear birdsong out the window. Haven't heard that for ages and its made me happy.
Just thought I'd share that with you all.

I'm glad summer is close to getting here. I like being able to wear shorts and a t-shirt, instead of having to put on layers of clothes. I don't hate winter but it isn't my favorite season.

I personally prefer winter. On those rainy days I go out and find big empty parking lots and start to do donuts in my truck . Summer in my area is blistering hot where the only time you can get out and not suffer from the heat is at like 4 in the morning . However, one of the things that I'm looking foward to this summer is all that new stuff that's coming out .

I thought summer was on the way here last week. It was in the 80's here but this week it is in the upper 40's low 50's.

And the sun staying up longer, which means you have more daylight so you can do more.

We get that here for about 6 weeks in the middle of summer.
I can remember a couple of years ago when I went through my "clubbing" phase.
Used to walk home from the club - 15 miles and took a good few hours. The sky always has a light blue to the north and always guided me home. Its kinda magical when you can watch the sun go down at about 9:30 and come back up at 4:30 but you know exactly where it is cos the sky is still blue.

I really have to start reading posts properly instead of skimming
We get crows here in winter but the really anoying f*ckers are seagulls. Really noisy and they make a right bloody mess on the car every time I clean it.
