Default Post VIA 4 in 1 drivers...question??

Ok, this may be a dumb question but my motherboard supports this and I was wondering what is the point of installing these? Does it speed things up or make things more stable....or does it screw everything up?

It tends to screw things up>> These drivers are meant to address specific issues such as VIA/ Creativ Labs incompatibility... if you do not have a problem addressed by these drivers, then don't get them. My 2c..

well, let me add this. With the 1.38 version the 4in1 drivers offer UDMA mode 6 that increased my hdd bandwidth by 29% For me, they are definitely worth installing. Either the 1.38, 1.41 or latest 1.42.
