My first car was a 1987 Toyota Tercel. It was a good car and I really miss it. It has since died.

Excellent find Hope it gives you many years of good running. I still have my first car (going on 6 years now) and cant complain, its been amazingly reliable so i get to spend all my spare cash on PC bits.

...mmm.. nothing like roasted human..... What really bites is when your not paying attention and you decide to jump into the car real quick.. (specially black leather).... with only shorts on..... next thing you know.. your using a scrapper to get the singed hair and skin and blood off the seats

Oh boy, it's the Pimp Mobile.
How many chicks did you get with that?
No wonder you have Johnny Bravo as your icon. Both him and you are chick magnets.
Just teasing!
***In response to the thread maker***
I'm proud (no sarcasm intended), I've yet to get a car, but trust me, it won't be a hunk of junk that Han Solo put together from a junk yard.
There's so many people who's first cars are crap, and just pass the tests with their lives.
I mean, rusted things that look like trailers with wheels.
It's a good thing you picked out a decent car.
My old boss told me this story about his first car. Keep in mind, he is 70. His first car only went in reverse, whether he's telling the truth or not, I've known people who've gotten cars like this.

Oh yeah man. It's a good buy dude. $400, all I have to do is fix the gears and such.
|
And they end up paying an arm and a leg just to get it fixed.
Now, to end my rambling, let me also say my first car shall be this:
I'll get new rims for it too.

Yes, if I have a loan.
It's 10,000 I believe.
My cousin's first car cost that much, but his parents are paying for insurance which pisses me off.
It's a 02' Beetle I believe.

About the leather: yeah I know, but it's just so much better .
I just bought the necessary leather pieces to convert my car to leather, should be coming in soon. I don't have to worry about the cold, since the car's only driven in the summer, and about the heat... well... I'll just have to be careful
(It's medium blue leather -- black would be harsh, though it looks so nice. The Supra never came with black interior though, so yeah... closest they got was Shadow Grey in 91-92, but it's really rare. Looks really nice though)

Okay, cars like that make you look like an intellectual, no matter how ignorant you are (not saying you are, just saying cars like that are status messages).
Nice car too.
