Yes, another Arthur C. Clarke fan. In the book 2001: A Space Odyssey they do go to the moon, but, as in reality, there is hardly any evidence of ice on our moon. However, in the sequel, 2010, they find ice and water on Europa, and want to be able to use it as a refueling point, that is until the extraterrestrial force intervenes.
