It is a useless little tool, that is supposed to be this great multi tool. Its kinda like an electric toothbrush with a bit stronger engine.

ROFL~~~ I'll second that one, dremels suck at cutting metal! Get yourself a good pair of tinsnips, or a nibbler if'n you got the spare cash. (I can't wait 'til I get a nibbler, my cases will look like swiss cheese shortly there after! )
I borrowed a dremel from my father to cut my first blow hole with, and after a couple of hours and about 5 different blades later I gave up and just punched a bunch of holes with a uni-bit. (TIP: Black marker around the edges can make the most chewed up looking hole look a whole lot better, that's what Dig does. )

I have a dremel tool, and it really is all in the bits you own... I did my case mod with a dremel tool. I know someone who uses one all the time for carving rock sculptures.... I think its really just how you use it

I won't argue about me not knowing how to use the dremel or what bits to use, I think I ended up finishing the whole with about 3-4 rock grinding bits...
Which blade do you recomend for case modding? And can I expect to make a whole with just one blade or should I pick up 2-3?

From my limitied modding attempts I think you should have a couple blades on hand since the cheap metal cases seem to eat the blades for lunch~

Actually Dremel tools rock for cutting metal ... it you have the right bit in them. Dremel has a diamond blade that will cut a server door in half in less than 45 seconds. I did it to prove a point to a Dremel tool doubter.
At 30,000 RPM this handy little tool will cut thru just about anything quickly.
