KAV or NOD32?
Which of the two would you choose and why? Please no comments on why you like something other than the two listed.

Gotta be KAV, but NOD32 has it's benefits, although I really don't think they outweigh the flaws displayed in KAV- even though they are minimal- I still believe it a tough call. I would experiment with both to make a final desision. Ease if use is more important that a few nagging problems that really don't make that much difference in the long run..

i'hv tested the NOD32 v2. when it 1st came out, it had some prob with XPs' so i stopped using it maybe its okay now.
i've been using KAV since it was AVP32 and that's on a win98, there were a lot of bugs with its control centre when 1st released of the KAV v4 but i keep using it all along, KAV also detects more trojans and blackdoor viruses, now it seems to be better on v4.5. but i still like to suggest do not install the control centre. one note-- the trial version won't work good at all as i remember, sometings like you cant save settings and some probs when trying to remove a virus.. til you have a license.. anyway you should check both programs out. i'd choose KAV... |
