I Made It
Well, folks, after a five hour layover in Chiang Kai Shek Airport and a thirteen hour flight, I've made it to America! Actually, I made it here on the 3rd, but I haven't had access to a computer.
So if you've been wondering why I've been generally inactive --which you probably haven't-- that's why.
I'll be in LA for the next few days, after which I will be heading to Wisconsin for two weeks. I will then finally settle down in the hot hot state of Arizona.
I saw the funniest sign in Taiwan. I've always found the sign that said "Drug trafficking is punishable by death in the R.O.C" amusing for some odd reason. Well, now it seems as if the Taiwanese are trying a new, hip, anti-drug campaign. The sign said:
CARRY DRUG = CRAZY DEATH

Where you headed to in Wisconsin? That's probably about as close to my neck of the woods as you're coming.

Maybe in southern Indiana there's a shitload of corn, up here in the region we gotta drive a ways before we can find any. (Then again, I think southern Indiana starts around US 30. )

Good luck Java when you reach your final destination. By the way, the closest I've ever got to corn is in a cereal packet.
If you don't mind me asking, what takes you to Arizona?

Kinetic, the love of my life is in Arizona, and I'm a little tired of being apart from her. So I'm going to go to the same college.

I live in Highland, right next door to Hammond and a couple of miles from Gary. I'm in the extreme upper-left corner of the state. I've never heard of Whiteland, it's in Indiana?

near Gary, huh?........................ are there alot of gangsters in your area? lots of crime? murders? ..... Isn't Gary supposed to be one of the most dangerous places in America?
..............I used to live in Richardson, TX.... 13th safest city in America . Now I live in Allen.
.... I'm kinda happy in little old Allen, TX.... just close enough to Dallas to not be rural and just far enough to not get all that annoying city traffic, pollution etc. .
If there were cornfields outside my house, I'd faint!! That farm stuff drives me crazy....( don't ask why )
