I'm not sure... but were is this station located... isn't it based in the US?

Must me our local provider if it is... because i'm seeing Saskatchewan based Radio ads on it constantly... Rock 102.1 FM and CKOM 650.....

Thing is... i don't they are doing that... maybe... ???? never seen that happen....

Spike TV was formerly TNN... if that helps. It's not something new, just a new name.

actually... it was formerly known as the "network for men" which was formerly known as TNN.... not sure were TNN is though....

Your local Cable or Satalite provider can pop local comercials in where ever they want so that may be what you are seeing... they do that with Magazines now. I get Newsweek and it has all kinds of local ads in it now. New marketing ideas...

TNN was The Nashvile Network before it changed its name to something with the same acronym, so originally it was from the US but the local cable company can add there own programming, on both local and cable channels, atleast from what I can tell. I get different ads on TV then my friend and we both have the same Cable Company, just live in different cities

....but why is this the only channel that they do it on?.... i mean.... saskatoon and regina have there own channel.....??? and i doubt our cable provider is bright enough to do that...

spike tv gets boring at times too much realtv and star trek on. they need more miami vice, car and drive, ride with funkmaster flex, nopi tunervision and stripperla on that damn station! i dont mind realtv it just gets annoying, star trek and blinddate piss me off.

Local cable providers usually stick in their own commercials for the extra money.

Might wanna check with SPIKE tv, some times it isn't legal to override the orginal channels commercials.

I just get commericals selling vitamins and "health" food.

I was pretty sure Kitchen Fresh Chicken was just a marketing thing, because KFC is still actually called "KFC Corporation." I could be wrong of course, I don't think they are going with Kentucky Fried Chicken anymore as a marketing name though, sticking to Kitchen Fresh.
