Probing for interest *gamers please read*

Hey guys,

I am probing for interest for a forthcoming clan.

The first question would have to be... what game would people be most interested in?

Halo (which would have to be my personal favourite)
Call of Duty
Joint Operations (not out till March)
or perhaps wait for Half Life 2 (April - hopefully!)

Also... I would have to ask for help with the funding for the clan server...

Halo would cost £70/month - for a 16 player (8 vs 8) server
Call of Duty would cost £65/month for 32 players and £34/month for 16 players
Joint Ops and HL2 would probably be a similar price.

for americans - 1.00 USD is approx £0.70

These servers are good - ping 195.149.21.10 to find out. They are run by http://www.jolt.co.uk

Please post in here if you are interested in any of these games, also if you could let us know if anyone is considering helping out towards the cost of the clan server that would be great.

Thanks alot

--- Jon

If I wasnt already in a clan, would join halo, alas is not possible. On another note, is jolt your best server provider? I have played on them before and they are pretty decent, but servers seem a little overpriced to what I have seen before @ other places in US anyways.

any help finding good, well-priced, servers would be greatly appreciated! I picked jolt due to their reputation and price is affordable.

well... nock the halo payment down to 0.... and i'd be happy.... as i can host it... just not yet..... just saying it's possible..... BTW.. if anyone asks why it cost a crapload.... it's because the halo dedicated server is pretty much beta... and it sucks resources like crazy....

Well halo would be my thing. CoD is unplayable with dial up. Tried and tried. Halo, dial up users can also play with great success. Multiplayer is a blast. (Do not believe me? Read my review sucka)

yeah.... problem is.. you start lag shooting for over 4 years... and then when you get a super fast connection.... you can't seem to drop it.... you start to shoot before he/she's even there....
