cyberx + vegas
steph and i cruised over to the stardust to check out what was happening tonight. didnt see much in the form of gaming competition...just a few punks scavenging for free junk from the vendors. ati had a cool booth though. they were showing off some custom water cooled rig, a stack of posters and t-shirts, some therapists giving back massages, and had a projection screen with a lord of the rings movie playing.
also snuck into the consumer electonics show...those bastards wanted 75 bucks just to get in.  before steph freaked out that we were going to get caught i did catch a glimpse of the maxim magazine booth. there were a handful of models standing around looking bored (no pics allowed)  ....the night wasnt a total loss though...steph bought me a roast beef sandwich meal at arby's on the way home. woo hoo.    "i went to cyberx and all i got was this friggin t-shirt."  |
