Pay pall need some help!

Hey guys

i want to sell my 2 sticks of ram and i found a buyer but my mom is a bit confused about all of this paypall business so i need to tell her how it works and since ive never used it i got u guys

1 how does it work? u just need ur visa number and adress and that rite u dont need some internet bank account rite?

2 when someon sends u money it goes straight to your visa account right?

3 when u send someon money it goes straight out your visa account?

4 how will i know when i get the moeney or like when someon sends it when will i know i got it?

5 its safe right ?

1)you can set it up with your normal bank account.

2)yes but i think there is a charge for that./same goes for bank transfers.but only low its best to add a couple of pound on your price to compensate that.

3)yes.can also leave the money on pay pal and it stores up like credit,that is yours for future payments.(then instruct to pay to your card)

4)once papal has received the money of the buyer they will send a confirmation email with details of the postage address.only then do you post.

5)yes,i have never had a problem.

depend on how fast u want paid . u can have the money deposted in your checking acount for free. you can have them issues a check an mail it to you but there is a fee. this is also an atm debit option when you can get a debit that works off you paypal balance. ther ae many site too that excpt paypal as a payment method u can shop with you ballence.

no first it show up in your account when it has cleared. after that you have to tellthem what to do with it or it just sets there.

you'l ge an email noification as well it show up in you accont as a trasnaction. it will have s a staus box say weather the payment has cleared or not. you wont have the money till the transaction clears.

thier is a built in buyer protection but i requre you to ship only t a confrimed adree and have proof of shipment like tracking numbers/confermations.

if you ship to some who is uncomfirmed ther is no buyer protection... it the transaction is frodulent your out your moneyand most likely your stuff

neon thats not a repeated question he meant if evil-alpha paid someone via paypal.

i have made 2 donations to dh via paypal and is always debited from my cedit card.

If you have a basic account, you can receive a limit ammount of money in a time frame without any cost to you. If you do a lot of selling and want a premium type fo account, it is free but there is a small percentage when paid to you that goes to paypal.

You can set up how the money is taken from your account. Through your checking account, credit card or your paypal account itself if you have money there.

The best thing is the PayPal debit card. Easy access to your money.

thats right its like $400 or $500 per mounth
but you can get it lifted you have to do some stuff it's all listed on the site

certain transactions cost you be sure to read the fee's carefully

Hey guys lets say i just want to recive money from someon for the ram and than donate only like 5-10 $ to dh and thats it not use it any more? can i like delete the account so it wont take money out of my moms credit card acount?

ok now i signed up and every thing and its like

how do i varify it cuz my mom doesent want to go call the bank or what ever 0_o and wahts the 2 pay pall deposits they gonna send mE? and we didint put in a visa number so how do i transfer the money to my account 0_o And last and lol can soemon send me money right now even though its Status: Unverified ???

EDIT: btw can my mom just put in her visa number in

or does she have to do both to activate account? can she just put her credit card number in and make it work or does she have to do something and get deposit numbers and crap>?

theres a charge for the verification of the card. what it does if you apply for that it will send a 4 digit number to your credit card statement once received you log in then type in the same number.then it will stay active until the expiry date of the card.

The charge to your credit card if it can not be verified through the CVV2 number. (The last 3 numbers on the back of the card where you signature goes). The charge is like 5 cents or something like that. No big amount.

When you verify your bank account, that takes a little longer. They deposit 2 small amounts into your account and you have to tell Paypal when you get the statement (or check it online) what those ammounts are and then you are verified. They do all of this because only you have access to the statement sent to your adress (it verifies your address) and the same goes for the credit card. Only you have the card and would have the cvv number on the back. Plus the card needs your address to work. =)
