At the end of the year, 2003.....
....what was the most significant event you experienced during the year?
Some may have gotten married,
Others may have an addition to the family.....or even a loss....
Still others may have started a new job or lost an old one.....
So....what event stands out among all the rest for you during 2003?

My first nephew was born a few weeks ago- that's pretty cool. Moving into the nicest apartment I've ever lived in -it's pretty nice. My girlfriend and I are pretty happy with it, we got a really good deal.

the funny thing is the best thing that happened this year was at the beggining...the birth of my litte baby girl Chloe Paige on the 27th Jan.
followed by the purchase of my 9800pro ~ had to mention it bacause if it wasnt for the birth of Chloe the 9800pro wouldve taken the crown!

My heart goes out to all those who have lost loved ones during the holidays. When I was just one week past my 7th birthday, my blood father died on New Year's Day. So, this is also a sad time of the year for us.
We were very fortunate that my mom found the greatest guy on earth to take us under his wings and become a husband and step-father. Sadly, we lost him just over two years ago in August.
For me, the highlight of this year was the birth of my baby daughter's first child....on January 25th. Matheny (Mattie) became my 3rd granddaughter. She is named after my son-in-law's greatmother's last name and they are using the nickname, Mattie, after my maternal grandmother's first name.
So many other things have happened as well:
1. I was made a News Poster and Gold Member of DH
2. Beta Tested Games: Line of Sight: Vietnam and Deer Hunter - 2004 -- both Atari releases.
3. Also, had some of my ingame videos from testing used as promotional movies. (If you get the game, Deer Hunter - 2004, you'll find a Special Thanks designated to me.)
So, it has been a year filled with activity and the highs and lows as well.
Here's to looking forward to a bright future. I'm an eternal optimist.

Ditto, it is important to learn to love and to heal and to keep going even when you fee your forsaken, just look for the sunlight that brightens the day. I live where the mountians meet the sky and I get up every morning to see the alpine glow on the ramparts of the Front Range.
