overclocking

theres one question i have about overclocking. So does it matter on the fsb speed of the processer you get.I have a p4 2.53 533 mhz now.In a dell system and mobo so im thinking of replacing my tower ,psu, mobo, ram(have rambus now).I want to overclock so going to get a volcano heatsink/fan.Is the 2.53 overclockable, ive never don=e this .so this in turn raises bus speed .Will this compare to or be faster than the newer 800fsb/hypert?I thinkill use a asusp4c800-e mobo.and what would be the best ram(with hs)for this combo.I have beewn trying to figure out recently on how to go about upgrading.I think this may be the road to take as opposed to a whole new system. Thanks for any input.I know ive posted before on the same subjects but i havnt quite made a decision which road to take,SO many!!

Don't buy a Canterwood board for a 533mhz FSB cpu. Buy a springdale. Overclocks about the same and is $60-80 less. Just invest in a Springdale (865) board and some PC3200 or 3500.
