Where o where?

I have decided to buy an Xbox...

Before anyone says "no - don't buy an xbox"... ha! I'm definately getting one

I want to play Project Gotham 2 over Xbox live, along with Counterstrike X and Rainbox six 3. Then there is House of the Dead 3 aswell!

Plus, of course there are the games of the future, like Halo 2 etc... which won't be coming to the PC.

Does anyone know any decent places to buy one of these from that may have a good offer going?

I'm just curious to know if there are any places I haven't tried (UK):

My son has an Xbox/Gamecube/ and a bloody PS2, cant get any damn work out of him...I suppose he will be in public office when he grows up...lol

lol... all three! That's a tad OTT! I was considering a PS2 at one point, but there is only really one game that pulls my fancy... Time Crisis 3. Yet there are many games which attract me to the Xbox, PGR2, Halo 2, RB6-3 etc...

Good luck with your X-Box ( PS1 Grafixs) LOL I wish i knew u wanted one as i just sold one with 12 games and 2 controllers X-Box live and the dvd remote for 150 us. I think the grafixs suck comparded to PS-2. But thats just my 2 cents.

Xbox graphics thrash PS2 graphics :P... and wouldn't that Xbox be NTSC? ... that would mean that I would need american games... meaning stupid shipping fees each time I wanted a new game... although it would give me an excuse to come over to the states more often

and Metroid is one of the best games ive ever played!!

Its a good buy Tasty you wont recret it!!! I have one and i love it, just finished MGS2 yesterday, im getting PG2 in a few days, to bad Portugal doesnt have xbox live suport yet, just have to wait....

i agree with you markius that game was one of the best console games i ever played

urrgghh... Zelda... bit too much of a simple game for me... I am an FPS, Driving and RTS fan, with a few adventure games I loved the first 2 tomb raiders... then they got crappy... broken sword series is great, have yet to try the third one.

I was disapointed in the cell/Toon shading.. i think it just doesn't belong on zelda..... Ninja turtles it does though.... I'm seeing way to many games coming out with toon shading as it's graphics display.... i think it's the easy way out as you don't have to go to much into detail at all....

I'm a fan of zelda as well.... i whooped em all.. haven't played anything beyond the SNES though...

Super Metriod... as far as i know according to one of the magazines that were showing fastest times with 100%+2 (the 2 = the little extra things you can do... such as saving the helper creatures before planet explodes)

The next running up had either 1:39 or 1:49

I can get an even better result when playing on the computer.. gamepads DO matter....

Zelda.... i played the game... without Dieing once... in under 3 hours

imo the latest Zelda game is full of detail.....from Links hair blowing with the breaze to the shiny armour of some of the bad guys.......its like a living cartoon...and imo, one of the best looking games ever made.

but saying that, i stress that its just my opinion....i dont want to get into a Zelda flame war!

Well... I just ordered it... decided to go with Amazon... exactly what I want for £150

I don't particularly want HALO... as I have it for PC... and that version has MP... so even better!

I'm getting the console (obviously) with Project Gotham 2 and Rainbow six - 3 for £150

Will get another controller and DoA3 from shop round the corner

Won't arrive till friday now though
