Team Canada Goes for Gold
As part of my annual christmas tradition, I watch all of Canada's games at the World Junior Hockey Championships.... I am actually going to record all the games with my AIW 9700 and make a personal DVD from the end result.....besides that gives me a reason to buy the DVD burner
Canada faced host country Team Finland and got a much deserved 3-0 victory......
Hometown hockey legend Sidney Crosby (lower left) is only the 5th, 16 year old in the history of this tournament to play for Team Canada. The other 4 are Wayne Gretzky, Eric Lindross, Jay Bomeister and Jason Spezza.....pretty damm good company I would say

Well let me tell ya Mac Daddy !!!!! I have relatives in Ontario.....In TO, Renfrew, Huntsville, Thunder Bay etc.....and I lived in Montreal during the early 70's so I have been a bruins fan ever since....I saw many Bruins games when Orr, Espo,Hodge,McKenzie,Cahsman etc were in the linup and of course Gerry Cheevers.... i used to cheer for whomever the Habs were playing against....didn't matter who won as long as it was not the Habs

Well even though it really does hurt me to say this, congrats Team USA for a hard fought 4-3 victory over Team Canada to capture the first ever Gold Medal for Team USA in the history of the World Junior Hockey Championships

Congrats Team Usa....but imo the canadian team should have won, the winning goal was extremley lucky. The Canadian goalie Marc-Andre Fleury must have slept pretty bad that night..
