According to
this article, Abit is going to begin outsourcing some of their low-end boards to huge OEM motherboard-maker ECS. That's pretty interesting, as I didn't really think Abit catered to many OEMs.
If you're planning on making a motherboard --and, really, who isn't?-- make sure to make it cheap and cheerful. There's a lot of money, it seems, in OEM boards.
I wonder if the leaner, cheaper Abit stuff will sell well against
ASROCK merchandise.
