It's half-time and we're beating the Aussies 14-5 in the Rugby Union World Cup Final!

After all the stick we got from the Aussie press, we even managed to score a try!

Let's hope we can maintain the pressure and take the Cup home!

Great to see the better team win. The aussies put up a fight but the way they tried to kick themselves to victory was shocking. I mean, England wouldn't do that would they?

Thats my point mate (sorry, didn't word it too well). The Aussies have been going on about how England should not be counting on jonny wilkinson to score all the points through kicks. But like you say its all about how many points you score, not how you score them.

We played how we wanted to and we won. That makes me proud to be an englishman - even if rugby aint my favourite sport.

Well done us.

i knew what your point were. i'm not a rugby fan either but same as you have to be proud that england has a world cup under the belt.

doesn't matter about what sport it is connected too,its a trophy to say were the best at this moment in time.

we can now put to rest 1966 trophy wise.now just wish we could get our hands on the football world cup(never will realistically).

Never say never. I do agree though, its highly unlikely I'll ever see the England football team lift the world cup.
