Like the Filename says, COOL!
The link is to 'cool.exe'. This file is NOT a virus, but a very impressive video presentation compiled into a 64 KB file. Very amazing....to me, anyway!
Download Cool.exe
Feel free to download and run your Virus scanner on it. Once you're sure it's OK, just double click on it to start an amazing video. Amazing in that the size is only 64 KB. When it says you can press Escape now, don't! Just wait a few seconds.

I just tried it again after downloading it. Worked great for me. You should get some music and a white loading bar at first.

Yeah, it's one of those 64K demos. It's basically a realtime 3D demo with music and textures and even lighting effects and movement with text and stuff all crammed into 64K. Runs at 640x480 I believe and i think it requires a resonably DX compliant card. Really damned neat how they do that stuff!

actually, that is fairly old.... early 2000 i think.... it runs very well on a voodoo banshee back then.... voodoo 3.... lots of cards.... The whole thing is just instructions for the computer to chomp on..... basically it give the computer the manual as well as the blue print paper.... and the computer just builds it as it goes...... excellent.... you can find the orginal source : http://www.theproduct.de/ They have quite a few demos out like that... newer...... but i think this one was one of the best... BTW, across all the cards i've ran it on... the monitors all reported 800x600

Judas,
Why would mainman, or anyone else for that matter, have problems running it? It gave me not one single ounce of trouble.

i haven't a clue why..... you have to have at least 16mb of video memory.... a decent 3d accelerator... 128mb of ram.... windows 98 or better.... a sound card.... I know of some of the demos that would lock up... BTW, go check my link that i gave...out... they have FR30 up....along with 2 others.... WAY newer and cooler looking...

......Neo? ... when i leave the program running, windows shows only 67000ish byte being used by the program...... i know it runs D3D (i'm pretty sure it's not OpenGL) but it's doesn't load the entire thing at once... the loading bar at the start as far as i was to understand..... is just pre reading, and preparing to load/unload as things are needed to be built and torn down....
