I remember the Toyota Crown. I use to really like that thing, funny you should mention it
do you remember the Toyota Cressida GLi6, that was a cool car too, wayyy back...
The Crown doesnt come to North America. As for the Celsior, its known as the Lexus LS430 and the Japanese market Toyota Altezza is called the Lexus IS300. Those are just two of the many name and identity changes cars go through so that North Americans find them appealing. But I have no knowledge about the Century , other than it exists.
What kind of powertrain options do the Crown and Century offer?
Edit: I forgot the whole point of the post was to tell what kind of car we liked to be driving...so here goes:
Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VIII
and the BMW M5

A new Cooper.
One of the new mini motoring machines. Whatever the top of the line sports model is with all the bells and whistles, in the blue & white color scheme with the off-centered stripe...
I GOTTA go test drive one!

The new Maruader is a true blue big v8, body on frame, big muscle sedan. Perfect for burning long strips of rubber
I liked the last generation Impala SS, with its detuned LT1 engine, it had more torque but lots less hp at around 260.

You're likely to be dissapointed by my reply, but I know as much about cars as the average Joe knows about art. Which is to say he likes what looks good to him, but knows little else.
When I drive around, I always look for Crowns. I love the way they look, but other than that--
I don't really understand why they changed the names. I don't trust or like car names composed of only letters and numbers. For me, the name's gotta be catchy.
If you want, I can probably dig up the info you want from Toyota.co.jp.

68 Ford Mustang, 78 Chevy Camaro Z-28, 70's model Ford Mustang Mach 1. I like old muscle cars. No electronic thrills, just raw horsepower.
