Fake NF7-S rev 2?
Heres a pic of my old rev2 northbridge (its kinda blury, but you get the idea)
Now heres one of the new mobo I got
All of the other NF7-S rev2 mobos I have worked with have ultra 400 acctually written on the chip. This is the first time I noticed that mine didnt have it. Anyone know whats going on here, or if its a fake?

Well... if it doesn't have Ultra 400 written on the NB - then it's most likely that it is only the 333FSB version of the nf2 - but - it could just have been a miss-print

nf2 is unoffically supposed to support up to 400 fsb ...
(but not all make it or usally they stop @ 180fsb due to lack of voltage and south brige voltages on alota boards ....)
nf2 400 offically supports 400 mhz
looks like you got a rev. 1.X
or a really really early 2X of some sort... verry weird
BTW... ISO allows for substition of parts due to supply as long as they keep documentaion of it.
I would contact your vendor and mb manufacture...

I think you' re using at 222 mhz sync ( from your sig) , if the vdd voltage at stock value probably your mobo has an nf2 ultra 400 nb.
I' m using Epox 8rga+ rev. 0.6 , it has an A2 nb and I can get it work at 225 mhz sync, but it works with 2.0 vdd voltage. I think your vdd voltage will be determination point of your nb version.

My NF7 2.0 doesn't have ultra printed on it. But it overclocks like an Ultra so I don't complain.

ABIT boards have the revision printed on them right? If that's the case, compare the revision prints closely.

They are all rev 2 boards, and all on the rev 2 PCB.
I'm not gonna try to compare that 20 digit string on all of these mobos, it would take like a half hour.
