SPAM Discussion
Absolute FACT:
Big ISPs add to spam AOL, Hotmail, Yahoo, Msn etc... Publicly and openly sells their active email lists!! It is stated in their terms of service as "marketing partners" AKA "spammers" “unsolicited e-mailers”.
Yet, the market a sell their services with ANTI spam feature’s. They advertise spam blockers, filters etc… If they didn’t sell our email addresses then maybe thee would be a lot less spam… I can sigh up with accounts from these companies and I have spam by the next day. Isn’t that false advertising? They pretend to be trying to protect you. Yet there promoting the spam by giving out your email address(s) just as fast as they give it 2 you!
Also, for example I signed up with msn but never I mean never checked my email because I always used hotmail. I after six moths checked and I had but one “original” email from msn in there beside the default welcome message. I just selected a deleted them (auto preview is turned off)…I then checked again nothing… next day I had close to 300 pieces of SPAM! All dated that day….I have never ever given anyone this address. The only way for them to know about it as well as to know that I was now checking it was by MSN telling them.
What’s your take on this? Shouldn’t something be done about this? Someone should be held responceable.
