in ten years driving experience i have never seen or been in that position myself(except for on tv).at 70 that must be quite difficult to bring it under control with 3 wheels on the ground.
must be a little shaken at the time.no personal injury's as you might of said so.
no other collisions.

Saw a similar incident a couple of weeks ago while driving to Leeds. Lorry driver had a blowout right in front of me. I was just getting ready to over take the lorry as well.
Could have been very nasty if I was alongside the lorry at the time.
Glad to see your'e ok mate.

its weird having an accident, I remember getting hit by a car when I was on my sportsbike.... it was like a series of stills, seeing the car, feeling the impact, flying in the air, over the car. landing, looking back at the bike wrecked...... probably the adrenaline pumping like mad.

Reminds me of hitting a Dear @ 45mph it was like slow mo! Hitting the dear and it flying up, almost looking like a fake, and no I wasn’t in someone’s front yard. Then it flew about 40 feet and loaned on the road and got up about 5 seconds later and ran off.
I saw lot of bad ones in my travels. The more you drive the more you see and I drove all over the US. Once saw were a semi driver fell asleep and plowed trough many of cars. The police were out there with bags picking up body parts. The debris field was over a mile before he went into the midway and got it stopped.
I saw were a full van hit a low setting truck with a load in the back. The driver must have not been wearing his seatbelt as he was trough the windshield lets just say “there was blood all over”.
I’ve seen multi car pileups, semi trucks run red lights and slam into moving traffic!

Years ago, I rear ended a Cadillac doing 45 in a olds mobile got distracted, popped up over a hill an bam. There was a car stopped to turn right! Traffic coming in the other lane and I couldn’t pull her in the yard there was a telephone poll!!!! And a house! So my old chose was to rear-end! No one got hurt bad. All though, my girlfriend at the time knocked her head on the windshield (Didn’t have seat belt on) hit so hard the dash pushed up and hit my nee left a gray mark from the dash , an imprint from the plastic. That was my only @ fault ancient.

I'll never forget the day after my 7th birthday. I was on my way to visit my grandparents and just after getting off the bus we had to cross a fairly busy road. My dad told me to hold my sisters hand while crossing the road. Being a stupid 7 year old I refused and he lost his temper and crossed the road with my brother and sister and left me at the bus stop. I panicked and ran out, right in front of a car. All I can remember was the bang as the car hit my hip and then I woke up at the other side of the road. As I regained conciousness I remember thinking that something wasn't right (apart from the pain). Then I realised that the school nurse was over me giving me first aid. It was her car that I ran into.
Quite ironic really.
My dad felt really guilty for weeks after that but I have never ever blamed him. It was completly my fault (too much of being a little brat).
When I was x-rayed at the hospital they found no breaks or fractures which the doctors said was a miracle, considering I was hit right on my hip and was then thrown 15 feet in the air only to land on my head (I still have the scar)
Very, very lucky.
And your'e right jonny - it hurts like hell.

Well of course - I'm a Geordie.
Or it could just be that kids are a lot more 'bendy' than adults.
