12 hour days in the next two weeks!
Well I don't know, But I might be able to get that 9800 Pro sooner than I thought!
The 3rd shift supervisor at my plant is going to be taking a 2 week vacation to England starting the end of next week.
His wife is English, She wants to go visit her family.
So I'm going to be pulling 12+hour shifts But the good news is I'll be bringing home about $900.00 clear
I should be able to swing the visiontek 9800 Pro 128mb at Fry's for $350.00
I might even go ahead and upgrade to 2 sticks of Corsair 512MB PC2700 333MHz.
That would give me a gig of memory. And there only (I cant believe I said that ) $99.00 a stick.
He's going to bring me back a few London new papers. Maybe a PC mag or 2.

don't you guys feel burnt out???
Whats the point of working all these hours to get money to buy things then never having the time to enjoy them. Working hard is one thing but some folks here are rediculous. I work 9 hour days with no breaks but I would'nt want to do any more. By the time I get home and cook for the wife, clean up, spend an hour with the wife and tuck her in (she works 10-11 hour shifts) I only get about an hour to play with my computer, sometimes less. I can't imagine working more hours!
