I'm happy for the guy and if I lived down there he'd have my vote also. He does seem like an honest guy and everyone who's met him has said the same. Also he has a very generous heart and has helped countless people in need. I think he'll do ok, I mean Jesse Ventura was a damn wrestler but he's also a damn good governor. Bred politicians are scum IMO, we need more outside blood

I checked your profile, and it was just as I expected... you're too young to remember Ronald Reagon. So I'll forgive your ignorance this time.
Ronald Reagan was a Hollywood actor who was elected governor of California. He was later elected President of the US with landslide results in 1980 and 1984. And he was an excellent president, probably the best the US had since Truman.
It remains to be seen if the Arnold will be a good governor, but at least give him a chance.

Just a slightly more advanced version. We seem to be doing alright with it as a country, wouldn't you say?

I like his character. His knowledge of a politician isn't important. In a world of Enron scandals some including good old Davis, a man who can't be bought out, is supporting the controversial things like pro choice, pro gay marraige, and apparently pro ferret is hard to come by these days.
