Smilie I'm finnally getting a digital camera!

I'm getting a FUJI FinePix A205 2.0MP, unless someone gives me a better one in the same price range in the next half hour or so.

I'm hoping to spend about 150$, but if theres another one thats much better I might push it up to 175$.

I'm a big fan of Nikon. The CoolPix 2100 has gotten some good reviews and has 3x optical zoom for around $170.

This one has 3x optical zoom too, and its only 148$ at newegg. Is there something special about the 2100 that I should look into?

I have a Kodak 3400 that I've had for just over 3 years. It's a 2.1 MP camera and I've put a 128 MB Flash Memory Card in it. I simply love this camera.

BUT, if I were getting a digi camera today, I'd want to make sure it's at least 3 MP.

The only thing about my Kodak that I'm not pleased with is that I can't rotate images using the camera controls. This makes showing the images on a TV (it does have that feature) kind of annoying if I've taken a picture with the camera turned sideways. So, I'd suggest you make sure you can rotate images if you plan to do any direct to TV viewing.

Yeah, I guess I'll get this one. I only need to do little things like displaying my computer, showing projects, and other stuff like that.

I never plan to do any direct to TV viewing, the only TV I own is smaller than most of my monitors. (its a 17In TV)

EDIT: Now it's official, I just ordered it and newegg sent a confirmation email. I finally can share images with people now.
