pwned?
ok, me and my friends are having an argument... they say that you pronounce "pwned" like "pawned"... but i say it's like "powned (owned)"... i say its like that because it is supposed to be 1337 for "owned"... so tell me, which of us are right?

Actually it's just pronounced 'owned,' everyone knows 1337-speak is still spoken the same.

Its one of those words that has no use in verbal communication, such as one does not say "lol" when told a funny joke.(unless you are just plain weird)

It is more than possible to speek 1337. ju5t R3/\/\83R 7|-|47 7|-|3 {0RR3{7 5|*311![\]6 !5 P\/\/[\]23|).
In other words, I believe it's pronounced pwnzed, which is a lot easier to understand and identify as leet speek. As for the "pw" syllable, it's up to you whether you wanna stick an 'a' or an 'o' in there. I personally try too make the p as close to silent as possible.

I spell it pwned, since i always thought it's 'pwned' because o was replaced with 'p' to be symetrical wit 'd'.

no..i'm totally lost...as you technically can't pronounce pwned at all.. there isn't enough vowels to do it... are you can say technically is "zed"...because the first 2 are just sielent by defaul...
